FORMER PRESIDENT FIDEL V. RAMOS HOLDS DIALOGUE WITH WW2 VETERANS IN SAN FRANCISCO
Former President Fidel V. Ramos held a dialogue last Saturday, 22 May, with Filipino World War II veterans at the Philippine Center in San Francisco. Other community leaders including NaFFAA Chairman Greg Macabenta and Mr. Mario Panoringan of the Fil-Am Coalition of Northern California attended the meeting. President Ramos, who was on a 10-day visit to the United States, discussed with the veterans the latest developments in the Philippines including the recently concluded national elections as well as issues related to their interests. In the photo are former President Fidel V. Ramos, Deputy Consul General Wilfredo Santos, and Ms. Reggie Panganiban, a registered nurse in the Bay Area and a granddaughter of the veterans.
