21/03/2012: Invitation to the Special Screening of "THE FORGOTTEN SOLDIERS"


To commemorate the April 9  Fall of Bataan and the 70th Anniversary of the beginning of World War II,   a screening of the film Forgotten Soldiers will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the 5th Floor Philippine Center Social Hall, 5th Floor, presented by the Philippine Consulate General  and Platinum Multimedia LLC Productions   

Forgotten Soldiers is a new feature-length documentary  movie  about World War II in the Philippines.  Through accounts of ten survivors together with photographs, reenactments and actual footage of the events,  the film depicts  the siege of Bataan and Corregidor leading to the famous Death March and highlights the heroic stance of Filipino and American soldiers, in particular the members of the Philippine Scouts.

The film is produced and directed by Donald Plata, written by Chris Schaefer, and narrated by  Lou Diamond Philips.  For more information about the film please  visit
