PH CONSULATE GENERAL IN SF PARTNERS WITH JOLLIBEETO PROMOTE OVERSEAS ABSENTEE VOTING REGISTRATION

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco recently partnered with Jollibee to promote Overseas Absentee Voter registration. On August 25, registration will be held at Jollibee at 6955 Mission Street, Daly City 94014. As part of Jollibee’s gratitude to Kababayans who exercised their civic duties, every successful registrant on that date will get a free burger!

Filipino citizens or dual citizens, of at least 18 years of age, are encouraged toregister as overseas absentee voters so that they may also exercise theirconstitutionally protected right of suffrage. To register, bring a copy of the latestPhilippine Passport for Filipino citizens, or Oath of Allegiance or IdentificationCertificate for dual citizens.

Consul General Marciano A. Paynor, Jr. thanked Jollibee for this joint activity. “Itis important that we remind Kababayans at every opportunity to take part inshaping the future of our country. Registering for OAV will give them thecapability to exercise their right to vote and help chart the political future of thePhilippines,” Consul General Paynor remarked.
