02/08/2012: SF PCG CONDUCTS CONTINUING CONSULAR OUTREACH MISSIONS THROUGH JUNE AND JULY

San Francisco, California  – The Philippine Consulate General  continues its  mission to reach out and deliver consular services to its constituents through its  year-long consular outreach missions.

For the month of June  the Consulate General conducted three Consular Outreach Missions in Anchorage and Juneau - Alaska and Seattle - Washington.    In July, six Consular Outreach  Missions were conducted that extended from Concord, Milpitas  and Salinas, California, to Reno, Northern Nevada until  Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska.

In these missions, the Consulate General renders passport, civil registry, legalizations and notary, dual citizenship services, overseas absentee voting registration as well as public  information inquiries assistance.

In June, the Consular Missions in  Anchorage and Juneau and  Seattle extended 522 and 1,186 services, respectively.

In July, different Consular Missions to Concord, Milpitas and Salinas  realized a total of 725 services,  the Reno Consular Mission with  538 services , and Anchorage and Fairbanks with a combined total of 1,114 services.

From January to July, the Philippine Consulate General has by far conducted 20 Consular Outreach Missions in its planned 37 outreach missions for the year with the objective  to cover as much states and areas as possible under its ten-state jurisdiction.

The Philippine Consulate  General  extends its deep appreciation to the various Filipino American Community host organizations and their volunteers who have helped realize the successful conduct of these missions.
