16/08/2012: Billboard Ads on It’s More Fun in the Philippines Create a Buzz in the Bay Area

The It’s More Fun in the Philippines campaign creates a big buzz among  residents and commuters in the Bay Area as they have been  captivated by the astounding attractions of
the country that are depicted in the billboard ads installed along freeways and key roads in San Francisco.   Sweeping images of El Nido in Palawan, Banaue Rice Terraces and Puerto Princesa Underground River which was recently chosen as one of the world’s New 7 Wonders of Nature, have captured the interest of potential travelers and consider the Philippines as a vacation destination.

In order to entice greater number of US travelers to visit our country, the Philippine Department of Tourism and Philippine Airlines, together with Mango Tours and Pacific Air Leisure, have developed
Fun Tour Packages to Manila and top provincial destinations, such as, Boracay, Puerto Princesa, Bohol, Legazpi, Cebu, Laoag and Davao. Tour package starts at $1,422 which includes round trip ticket via PAL, 2-night stay in hotel with breakfast, and airport-hotel transfer.  Additional information on these offers can be secured from travel agents or from DOT’s website ww.itsmorefuninthephilippines.us.com.
