TEAM FROM THE PH CONSULATE GENERAL VISITS TACOMA
The PH consular outreach team together with the Filipino Community Alliance of Tacoma (FCA).
Mr. Edwin Casanova of Federal Way, Washington registered as the consular outreach's 268th Overseas Absentee Voter.
The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted a consular outreach mission in Tacoma, Washington on October 5-7 to provide consular services -- passports, legal, dual citizenship and Overseas Absentee Voter Registration.
The team, composed of Vice Consul Leah Victoria Rodriguez, Mr. Fernando Clavecilla, Mr. Claro Cabuniag, Ms. Renee Seline Lopez, Ms. Leonila Palisoc Mr. Ramon Lopez, Mr. Leo Sarion and Ms. Dashielyn Lopez, was able to provide more than 664 consular services during the visit. A total of 268 Filipino citizens also registered as Overseas Voters, making the total number of registrants under the Consulate General’s jurisdiction close to 10,000, its target number for the registration period which ends on October 31, 2012.
Consul General Marciano A. Paynor, Jr. thanked the Filipino Community Alliance of Tacoma (FCA) for its leadership and support.
“Our mission in Tacoma would not have been possible without our partnership with the Filipino communities. My special thanks go to all the FCA officers, members and volunteers for ensuring that our operations run smoothly from start to finish,” Consul General Paynor remarked.
