26/07/2016: SAN FRANCISCO PCG HOLDS CONSULAR OUTREACH IN RENO, NEVADA ON 23-24 JULY 2016

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted a consular mission on Saturday and Sunday, 23-24 July 2016 at the St. Albert the Great Gymnasium in Reno, Nevada.

Headed by Team Leader, Vice Consul Carlyn A. Monastrial, the Consulate was able to process the following services:  206 passport renewals and four (4) lost passports, 69 acknowledgements, one (1) authentication and nine (9) other certifications/affidavits.  There were twelve (12) reports of marriage and three (3) reports of birth.  41 people availed of Dual Citizenship, with two (2) minor derivatives

The eight-man team was assisted by the Filipino Community in Reno, Nevada, headed by Mr. GeorgeMichael Alvendia and Ms. Thelma Frias.  Volunteers were able to pre-process documents of Filipinos in need of consular services and maintain order in the course of the outreaches.
