08/02/2017: SAN FRANCISCO PCG HOLDS FIRST CONSULAR OUTREACH IN WASHINGTON STATE FOR 2017

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted a consular mission from 02 to 04 February 2017, at the Nurture Center in Tacoma, Washington.

Headed by Team Leader, Vice Consul Carlyn A. Monastrial, the Consulate was able to process the following services:  195 ePassport renewals; four (4) lost regular passports, one (1) Travel Document and one (1) extension.  For notarials, 21 Acknowledgements, 30 Authentications and six (6) Certifications/Affidavits were processed.  There were 12 Reports of Marriage and 11 Reports of Birth, while 17 people reacquired Philippine citizenship, with two (2) minor derivatives.

The Consulate was able to register 142 new overseas voters, four (4) transfers and one (1) reactivation.

The nine-person team was assisted by volunteers organized by the Filipino Community Alliance of Tacoma, headed by Ms. Gina Gevero O’Neill. Volunteers assisted in the pre-processing of documents and maintained order in the course of the outreach.
