26/01/2017: SAN FRANCISCO PCG HOLDS FIRST CONSULAR OUTREACH FOR 2017 IN MILPITAS, CALIFORNIA

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted a consular mission on Sunday, 22 January 2017, at the Seasons Marketplace in Milpitas, California.

Headed by Team Leader, Vice Consul Carlyn A. Monastrial, the Consulate was able to process the following services:  95 passport renewals; one (1) lost regular passport; two (2) passport extensions; one (1) travel document; 49 acknowledgements; 9 authentications; seven (7) affidavits; four (4) Reports of Birth, and two (2) Reports of Marriage. 21 people reacquired Philippine citizenship, along with one (1) minor child.

The Consulate was able to register 37 new overseas voters, and four (4) transfers of registration records.

The nine-person team was assisted by volunteers from the Filipino-American Community, headed by Mr. Gorjius Castillo, who assisted in pre-processing of documents and maintaining order in the course of the outreach.
