26/09/2016: SAN FRANCISCO PCG HOLDS CONSULAR OUTREACHES IN MILPITAS, CALIFORNIA ON 25 SEPTEMBER 2016

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted a consular mission on Sunday, 25 September 2016, at the Seasons Marketplace in Milpitas, California.

Headed by Team Leader, Vice Consul Carlyn A. Monastrial, the Consulate was able to process the following services:  82 passport renewals; 60 acknowledgements; 24 authentications; one (1) affidavit, and one (1) report of birth. 31 people reacquired Philippine citizenship.

The eight-person team was assisted by volunteers from the Filipino-American Community, headed by Mr. Gorjius Castillo, who assisted the team in pre-processing of documents and maintaining order in the course of the outreach.

As in the previous month’s outreach in Milpitas, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, represented by Mr. Richard Yum, presented the Filipino World War II Veterans Parole Program to the Community and assisted with issues regarding citizenship and immigration.
