22/02/2017: SAN FRANCISCO PCG HOLDS THIRD CONSULAR OUTREACH FOR THE YEAR IN FRESNO AND MILPITAS, CALIFORNIA ON 18-19 FEBRUARY 2017
The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted its third consular outreach for the year on Saturday and Sunday, 18 and 19 February 2017, at the Fil-Am Building in Fresno and the Seasons Marketplace in Milpitas.
Headed by Team Leader, Vice Consul Carlyn A. Monastrial, the Consulate was able to process 128 passport renewals, two (2) lost passports, and one (1) Travel Document. For notarials, the team processed two (2) authentications, 100 acknowledgements, two (2) Reports of Marriage, seven (7) Reports of Birth, and eight (8) other certificates. 41 people availed of reacquisition of citizenship, with one (1) minor derivative.
For Overseas Voter Registration, the team was able to process 110 new registrants, one (1) reactivation, and five (5) change of addresses.
The ten-man team was assisted by the Filipino Communities in Fresno in Milpitas, headed by Ms. Maribelle Dyoco and Fely Guzman, and Ms. Gorjius Castillo, respectively, who volunteered to pre-process documents of Filipinos in need of consular services and maintain order in the course of the outreaches.

For the second time this year, the Consular Outreach Team was in Seasons Marketplace in Milpitas to provide consular services for the Community in the area.
