23/01/2018: PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL IN SAN FRANCISCO SUCCESSFULLY HOLDS ITS FIRST CONSULAR OUTREACH MISSIONS IN 2018

24 January 2018, San Francisco, CA. The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco is pleased to report that it successfully conducted its first Consular on Wheels (COW) outreach mission in Sacramento and Milpitas, California on 20 and 21 January 2018, respectively. The COW in Sacramento was held in the Filipino-American Veterans Memorial Hall while the Milpitas outreach was held in the Multi-Purpose Hall of Seafood City Supermarket. Vice Consul Andre Peter C. Estanislao led the first consular outreach of the year along with ten (10) consular staff members.

A total of two hundred eighty-eight consular services were rendered during this two-day COW while one hundred and twelve (112) new overseas voters were registered.

This was also the first time when the Consulate General used its appointment system for its consular outreach mission. This resulted in a much more manageable crowd and a more organized set up.
