04/11/2010: PHILIPPINE CONSULATE JOINS THE FIL-AM COMMUNITY IN CELEBRATING THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS
San Francisco was in euphoric spirits as the San Francisco giants paraded downtown to celebrate their first World Series baseball championship since moving to the West Coast in 1958. The Filipino American community was especially proud of pitcher Tim Asis Lincecum, a fourth generation Filipino American. The Philippine Consulate in San Francisco joined the Filipino American community and the rest of San Francisco and the Bay area in celebrating this historic win.
